I'm Ameenah Asante, a transformational life coach on a mission to empower others.

My journey began in East Lansing, Michigan, where I nurtured a love for learning (graduating from Florida State University!). A desire for adventure led me to Japan in 2002, where Tokyo became my home for 15 years.

There, I discovered my passion for helping others and founded The Shi Coaching Collective, alongside several dance companies and a thriving presence in the fitness and wellness space. Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of facilitating transformative trainings and retreats around the world (think Australia, Austria, Sweden, Japan, and major US cities!) – empowering individuals in personal development, health, dance, and fitness.

My own educational journey is ever-evolving. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Japanese, a Master's degree in International Business, and I'm currently pursuing a doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Oh, and most importantly, I'm a proud mama to two amazing teenagers!
